Basidiomycota reproduce sexually by the creation of specialized club-shaped cells called Basidium end, which usually results in extra meiospores (usually four).
These specialized spores called basidiospores. However, some have Basidiomycota reproduce asexually, and may or may not also sexually reproduce. Asexual reproduction Basidiomycota (see below) can be members of this tribe to recognize obvious similarities with other reproduction processes. The creation of special anatomical feature (Terminal connection - see below), a part of the cell wall, and ultimately molecular phylogenetic analysis of DNA sequences.
