Azelaic acid - cure for melasma?

Recent research revealed that azelaic acid may be a great substance when dealing with melasma. Study has found that this acid slows the activity of melanocytes. Melanocytes are skin cells which produce pigment. Azelaic acid has also very good antibacterial propeteries, it is not toxic to humans. Use of azelaic acid in melasma treatment is definitively a good choice.
